The DS-1064 can only compare with the DS-164, since it hails from the same family of islands for seating with moveable backrests. It is neither sofa nor suite; it is most surely not a row of neatly arranged seating elements. Not in the slightest! It is a living environment that resembles a little cityscape of seating. Its technology is a stroke of genius elaborated from the DS-164-- its backrests can be moved easily to virtually any position desired with a simple push/pull movement.
A comprehensive system of elements affords many possibilities of constructing a living environment to meet one’s own very individual requirements--a variety of designs can be realized that reflect the mood of the moment and enables easy modification over a lifetime of changes it may undergo down the road.
